Comfort Pro APU Regeneration

 

APU Regeneration (Regen) of Comfort Pro Systems are advised at least once a week by manufacturer. Fast Cargo, advices you to do this least every other day, although, can do this once a day. Doing a regeneration on a regular routine prevents filter clogging and makes the APU more effective and efficient.

1. With the engine off, press the APU ON/OFF button. The main screen will say PLEASE WAIT APU STARTING, shortly after you’ll hear it start up.

2. Press MENU

3. Press the RED ARROW right till you see DPF MANAGER on the main window. (You may have to press this several times till you see it, once you see it, then proceed to step 4.

4. Press MENU. The screen will say START REGEN on the main screen.

5. Press MENU. The screen will show NO

6. Press RED ARROW, screen will now show YES

7. Press MENU

8. The screen will now go back to Main Screen

9. It will also display DPF REGEN START with a 60 second timer counting down till start. When counter reaches 0, it will show DPF REGENERATING at the bottom of the MAIN SCREEN

10.  Allow REGEN to continue until done.

11.  When finished, DPF REGEN will go away and only the main screen will remain, showing temperature and time and day.

12.  APU REGEN COMPLETE
