Please use the following procedures to best route Driver’s call for OTR events to insure efficient service.

​

TIRES  

Tire issues (flat, blowout, tread depth) calls must be directed to B.E.N. the Bridgestone Everywhere Network emergency road service. Have the Driver call Bridgestone at 1-800-560-0099.

​

BREAKDOWN  

All Over-The-Road service for tractor/trailer will be handled by Fleetnet. *See the list below and have them do it at the next truck stop do not call FleetNet for issues like that. All other OTR breakdown issues please have the driver call FleetNet at 1-800-972-8872.

PM’s  

Any Driver calling to request a truck PM or oil change service, direct their call to Speedco at 1-866-773-3326. *Call Speedco for all PM’s NOT FleetNet.

*For the following issues please have the driver proceed to closest Truck Stop for repairs:

​

Mudflaps, Truck or Trailer light out, Minor body damage after reported (Loose chute, small dents), Flat tire or low tire pressure, if unit can be safely driven, APU issues or service, Windshield issues, unless in driver’s view.

 

Dispatch will take all calls from the 855-684-8040 number that Drivers used to call for Breakdown events. Dispatch will handle all calls to that number all day Saturday and Sunday and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday thru Friday.

Procedure for Drivers:

​

Important - The Driver will call the Breakdown Service number to begin the process. During the weekday from 8am to 5pm the Shop will handle the call and after hours Dispatch will take these calls and will tell the Driver which number they should call for service. If it's a light or mud flap replacement have them go to the nearest truck stop to have that kind of service done.

First we will discuss the procedure for OTR Tire issues. There are two main reasons why we would call for tire service help while on the road one is a blowout and the other is a flat. For OTR tire repair or replacement service call Bridgestone at (800) 560-0099. They will help you with your tire issue and get your Driver back on the road fast.

​

DOT Tire Issues:

• Blowout

• Flat Tire

• DOT tread on tire is less than 4/32” on Steer

• DOT tread on tire is less than 2/32 on Drivers and Trailer

 

Second we will discuss the procedure for any and all other OTR breakdowns. Use FleetNet America for any OTR breakdown issue except for tires. Call them for DOT issues and if the check engine light is on or oil and/or coolant gauges and/or are levels are not right. The only exception with tires is when a tire damages other parts of the truck or trailer and the tire and those other areas all need to be repaired then call FleetNet America at (800) 972-8872.

 

DOT Issues:

• Burned out headlight

• Truck break and signal lights must be working at all times

• Trailer break and signal lights must be working at all times

• Trailer marker and clearance lights must be working at night

• Air Leak – any air leak is a DOT issue (air lines, brake chambers, air bags, leveling valve)

• Windshield – if the driver side is chipped, cracked or spidering larger than a size of a quarter

• Damaged mud flap

Third we will look at the procedure for PM's or Oil Changes. Use Speedco for all OTR PM's and oil changes. When the Driver's truck is due for a PM or oil change while on the road and they can't make it back to the shop for the service then have them call Speedco at (866)-773-3326.
