Driver Settlements PAYS the following (DO NOT PAY):

​

  • Breakdown Pay – See Breakdown Procedure for Pay

  • Lumpers

  • New Mexico Permits

  • Pick Up Pay – Computer automatically generates pay

  • Tolls

  • Scales

  • Stop Off Pay - Computer automatically generates pay

 

Extra Pay – Company Drivers

 

  • Detention Time Unloading: Driver is to be paid $15.00 an hour after 4 hours at customer up to $100.00 per 24 hours

  • Layover Pay – Driver is to be paid a flat $100.00 per 24 hours waiting to be assigned to a load – Not applicable if driver refuses a load

 

  • Pick Up / Stop Offs: Driver is to be paid $15.00 per pick up/stop off after they have given one free each.   – Computer Pays Automatically

 

Extra Pay – Lease Drivers and Owner Operators

 

  • Detention Time Unloading:  Driver is to be paid $30.00 an hour after 5 hours at customer up to $200.00 per 24 hours

 

  • Layover Pay:  Driver is to be paid a flat $200.00 per 24 hours – not applicable if driver refuses load

 

 

  • Pick Up / Stop Offs: Driver is to be paid $50.00 per pick up/stop off after they have given one free each. - Computer Pays Automatically

 

Extra Pay – What to do if you cannot add or deduct pay to the load it goes on.

  • Do Not add it to the next load

  • (If you add extra pay to the wrong load number then you put us in a position that we could double pay the driver.)

  • Email driversettlement@fastcargoinc.com so they can pay the driver.

  • Email the following information:  list truck number, load number, amount to pay and what the extra pay is for.

 

Reefer Fuel – Company Driver

  • If a company driver does not leave the correct amount of reefer fuel you CAN NOT deduct the money from his pay.

  • Talk to your Manager on action that needs taken with driver.

 

Reefer Fuel – Lease Drivers and Owner Operators

  • If a Lease Driver and/or Owner Operator leave a reefer fuel tank less than 75% full.

  • Charge the other driver lease and/or owner operators the amount using code – RFD

  • Reimburse the driver lease and/or owner operators that was shorted the amount using code – REE

 

DAY SHIFT DRIVER MANAGERS:

​

If your driver has approached detention time and has already exceeded the limit of $200 during your shift it needs to be entered right away. If not, then an email with a list for your trucks needs to be passed on to the next driver manager who will be in charge of your fleet, stating that your driver is still calculating detention and compensation will need to be entered once empty. Also, cc: Jayvee and John on your email. If your driver has a rejection and had to re-deliver, please instant message and email John as soon as you know so the he can pay the driver or the re-delivery.

SECOND SHIFT/NIGHT SHIFT DRIVER MANAGERS:

You will receive and email from the day shift driver managers stating that their driver is still accumulating detention and once they are empty you need to pay them for their detention once they are empty or once they have reached the $200 mark. Once you have entered the detention/re-delivery you need to reply to the day shift email along with Jayvee and John cc: on the email.

 

WEEKEND DISPATCHERS:

It is your responsibility to compensate the driver for any detention, layover, or re-delivery. Make sure to send an email to the next shift driver managers and also weekday driver manager for anyone still accumulating detention and for anyone you have already paid detention to. Make sure to cc: Jayvee and John on your emails.

Please note: All dispatcher/driver managers are responsible for taking a snapshot of the reimbursement.

DRIVER INCENTIVES

 

  • All Owner Operators/ Company drivers will be required to get a DOT inspection done at a scale after their first load.

     

  • Inspections that pass are eligible for a

    • Level One Inspection - $100.00 Bonus

    • Level Two One Inspection - $75.00 Bonus

    • Level Three – $50.00 Bonus

       

  • After the 5th consecutive passed inspection you will receive a $100.00 bonus.
