Drop & Hook Trailers
-
Confirm the trailer number, condition and fuel amount of the trailer that is being dropped. Check the fuel gage on Rcomm if applicable.
-
Make a note in the call-in with the information on both trailers.
-
All trailers must be dropped with 75%. If not dropped with 75% you must charge the driver(only Lease and Owner operators maybe charged for fuel ) $4 a gallon. Use the code Reefer Top-Off Reimbursement when reimbursing the driver and use Refer Chargeback when charging the driver.
-
If the driver picks up the other trailer with less than 75%, find out who dropped it last. Email Driver Settlement with a snap shot of the reimbursment you entered for your driver and let them know who they need to charge.
-
Company drivers DO NOT get charged for fuel (all 500-600 trucks)
-
-
After drop and hook has been made you must go back and make sure trailers are dropped in Mcloed and RCOM and showing up in the trailer pool.
-
From your movement screen, click on the update button
-
You MUST have the driver inspect the trailer before he leave the facility. If any damage is reported the driver must fill out a report before he leaves the Facility. We must also notify Fast Repair via email with photos of the damage attached.
-
The damages need to be noted under the comments tab under the trailer file. On any screen you can double click on the trailer number and a comments tab will apear on the right hand side. Please make sure to include all of the following see below
