PTA's

  • PTA is used as a notification to make the planner aware of when the driver will be available to pick up a load. PTA should be updated every time a driver gets empty from a load:

 

1. Double click on the PTA for the corresponding truck

2. Update the date and then click “OK”

  • Make sure you update PTA as soon as your driver accepts their pre-assignment.

  • If a driver requests time off put the scheduled time off in the PTA ASAP so it reflects the drivers availability. This will let Planning know when the pre-assign a load for the driver.

  • If a driver is broke down update the PTA in the system to reflect the date and time of repair. Update the PTA ASPA when you receive updates of the repair and keep current date and time in the system for planning.

  • It will be your (DM’s) responsibility to keep these PTA’S up to date in the system. Planning will pre-assign loads accordingly to the dates and times entered in the PTA
