Tracking Deliveries

Set up R-com to show each delivery that is made – check to make sure detention and layover pay is entered into system and set up for drivers payroll

 

No Delivery Appointment Set Up

  • Arrive early – if there is date and 0000 that means there is no appointment

​

  • Customer Service usually gets delivery apt the same day or day after pick up

  • Click on load you are reviewing then click call in – check Previous 10 days to check for driver eta

  • Click on Arrive Early field you will get dispatch screen then click on order entry

  • Check stops for comments on stops

  • If no ETA then call driver for ETA

  • Once you know eta take screen shot and email DM and email group of customer – example Kroger@xpresscargoinc.com

  • Let them know drivers eta and see if they can set apt up for that time

  • Go to order entry – then stops and put comment of what you did their

 

 

Check Driver Status of Delivering Loads

  • Drivers should be driving 500 miles a day – driving 55 mph on average and 10,000 miles per month

     

  • To check current day loads –

     

    • Click Filter

    • Days out 0 – order section

    • Days out 0 – tractor section

       

  • If status of delivery is Red they are late / If white they have not delivered yet check details below

  • Arrive early date if more than one stop is the last stop information

  • Last location give you where driver location is

  • Click on arrival date and time – then click call in

    • Read Previous 10 days of calling to see status of driver – if status is current then nothing more to do

  • If no status click order entry – stops for details

    • Double click pickup for details – check for delay

  • Check emails for details on possible problem

  • Order entry – check stops for any comments

  • Check temperatures – check order entry – Planning comment for special notes

    • If 1 to 2 degree difference do not worry about it – in red there is a problem

    • If there is more or less than that and driver is at shipper or consignee do not worry about it

    • Have dispatcher check with driver if not check with driver and make comments under stop

  • Check R-Com for driver status

    • Green truck is rolling

    • Red truck is stopped

    • Grey it is not working

  • Update stop with – temp – driver eta

     

  • If Grey

     

  • Driver has arrived but not checked out yet

     

  • Contact driver and find out the following

     

    • Why they did not check out with qualcomm – they are required to process through qualcomm

    • Check out time and date

    • Empty or loaded

    • Drop trailer or not

    • Clean bills

 

Tractor or trailer broke down

​

  • Check messages in the tractor or trailer file breakdown puts comment there

  • If no comments from the previous day call them

     

Rapid Alert

​

  • Set up so when loads are delivered check for loading and unloading detention and layover pay

  • Check order entry for billing and unpaid settlement for payroll

  • Then click that you viewed so it goes off my report
